Tucker Arts Guild Meets Tonight

The Tucker Arts Guild will hold its monthly meeting tonight, Thursday, May 17 starting at 7 p.m. at the , 2319 Main Street in Tucker.

The guest speaker will be pen maker Bob Snee. The TAG website says this about him: Bob started making pens in 2002 when his doctor told him that he needed to have a hobby. He turns wood and acrylic to create interesting and unique pens that are more like works of art. He will be demonstrating some of his techniques at the meeting. He uses all types of wood- from oak to exotics.

Some of Snee's pens will be available for sale at the meeting. They range in price from $45-$75. 

The Tucker Arts Guild describes itself as an organization of artists interested in highlighting and promoting the artistic aspects of the community.
