Jeff and Delores Gold will host a book signing for local author Doug Dahlgren at the Old Tucker Mill antiques emporium on Saturday, Aug. 27, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Dahlgren is a longtime Pearidge resident, and has authored an evolving series of well-crafted action-mystery novels called The Son - Silas Rising and The Only Constant.
Fans of modern vigilantism will love his leading character, a solitary, creative man who takes matters of political corruption into his own capable hands. Book Three of the series, The Basics of Fundamentals, is coming soon.
Dahlgren is married to Donna and is the father of three grown children, grandfather of two. He is a graduate of Druid Hills High School and is retired after many years with Sears at Northlake and as a painting contractor.
