Weekly Adoptables: Molly the Whippet

An ideal companion for a family with kids or elder parents.

This beautiful dog is Molly.

She has been patiently waiting for her forever home at DeKalb County Animal Services in Decatur. She actually was adopted back in August by what seemed by a wonderful family, but the child started hitting her often, and then they left her in a dog park! Now she’s back at the shelter, unfortunately not doing well caged again.

Here is a quote about Molly from one of our volunteers: “I have been walking her and petting her. She is a very loving, sweet, unassuming dog that only wants to be petted and loved. She would be an ideal companion for a family with kids or elder parents. She needs to find her forever home soon as the stress of being in a kennel is taking a toll on her health and stress level. Once she is out in the pen, she relaxes and enjoys life to the fullest.
