Tucker Library to Hold Fundraising Book Sale

The annual sale will benefit programs for kids, teens and adults at Tucker-Reid H. Cofer Library.

The Friends of Tucker-Reid H. Cofer Library will be having their annual book sale on Oct. 20 in the meeting room of the library from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

The Friends will be selling hardback books for $2 and all other books, CDs and DVDs for less than $2! Nice, large book bags to carry your new finds will be $8.

There will be mysteries and suspense, science fiction, biographies, history, travel, religious, crafts and hobbies, self-help, parenting and lots of children's books. Name a category and it will probably be there.

All money raised from the book sale will fund ongoing programs for children, teens and adults at the library.

Due to budget cuts in the library budget in DeKalb County, the money raised by the Friends group is necessary to keep running programs that benefit the Tucker community.

The library is located at 5234 LaVista Road.
