Tucker 2014: Group Holding First Meeting Next Week

The Greater Good BBQ is hosting a Tucker 2014 meeting on Monday July 8 at 7:30 p.m. Its purpose is to gather people together who want to see Tucker become a city.

Tucker should be "able to chart its own future, focus on what is good for our community and citizens, and provide a way to get immediate direction and feedback from its constituents," organizers said in a statement. "Immediate action is required, as the clock is running."

The meeting will ensure "every citizen is aware of the issues and options, and involving them in the process." Also, Tucker 2014 is aiming to raise the remaining funds to perform the official feasibility study.
