July Adoption Special Almost Over, Low Cost Vaccine Clinic and DeKalb County Animal Services Pet of the Week

July is almost over and that means our ‘Celebrate Their Independence Day’ special will be ending soon too.  You have less than one week to take advantage of our great adoption rates:  only $30 for any dog and $17.76 for any cat!  This price includes the pet’s spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip and more – a $200 value!  All potential adopters will be screened to ensure the animal is getting a good home.  So come to the shelter today and take advantage of the adoption special before it ends.  You’ll make someone very, very happy when you do!

LifeLine Animal Project is holding our monthly low-cost vaccination clinic this Saturday at our Avondale Clinic located at 129 Lake Street in Avondale Estates. Puppy and kitten vaccine packages are just $25 and annual vaccine packages for dogs and cats start at $40.  No appointment is necessary for this first come, first serve event. Click here for more details.

DeKalb County Animal Services Pet of the Week:  Markell

This week’s Pet of the Week is Markell, a gorgeous brindle Staffordshire Terrier mix.  Despite his bold tiger stripes, Markell is really a mellow, sweet and lovable boy who enjoys playing with toys and getting scratches behind his ears. Markell is always happy, and he has an adorable little stubby tail that wags constantly.  He gets along great with other dogs, is very obedient and loves to learn. The staff agrees that whoever adopts Markell will be a lucky person!  And for one more week you can take advantage of our 'Celebrate Their Independence Day' promotion and adopt Markell for only $30.  Our adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, vaccinations and more!

To meet Markell, please drop by the shelter, email adoption@dekalbanimalservices.com or call (404) 294-2165.  To view other great animals available for adoption, visit www.dekalbanimalservices.com
