Grecian Gyro Supports Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund

Dine for diabetes at the local Greek restaurant.

During the month of March, Tucker’s only Greek joint is partnering with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF) in the fight against Type I diabetes, according to a press release.

Customers can join the fight against juvenile diabetes by purchasing and signing their name on a paper sneaker for $1 throughout this month, which will be displayed in the store. Buckets will also be placed in the restaurant for those wishing to donate spare change.

The Tucker location will host a special “Dine for Diabetes” community night on March 26 and 27 donating 10 percent of sales to the JDRF.

The local, family-owned restaurant brand has two other locations, in Hapeville and Forest Park, which are also raising funds by participating in the JDRF Sneaker Sales Program.
