Back N the Day at South Beach Bistro & Lounge

When/Where: Saturday, June 11, 10 p.m., South Beach Bistro & Lounge, 2077 Northlake Parkway, Tucker. 

Why Go: This strictly 21-and-up event is celebrating an evening with hip-hop, R&B and reggae classics from the 90s era. Back N the Day also will have food and drink specials, including $5 martinis and shots and $7 margaritas and long island teas. A dress code of no baseball caps or sports attire will be enforced, but jeans are OK. 

Pricing: $20, and ladies are free until midnight. 

Date Night Pottery

When/Where: Saturday, June 11, 7 p.m.-9 p.m., ART Station,  5384 Manor Drive, Stone Mountain. 

Why Go: SMart Inc. artist Angela Williams is back with another batch of date night pottery classes at ART Station for the rest of the year, including this Saturday. Pottery night is an amazing event to share with someone special, whether it's a first date or a golden wedding anniversary. Guests will have access to clay and tools while Williams instructs, and finger foods and wine will be available, too. 

Pricing: The class is $79 per pair and reservations are required. Call 770-469-1105 for more information and to make reservations.

Poker at The Rock House 

When/Where: Friday, June 10, noon, The Rock House, 5329 Mimosa Drive, Stone Mountain. 

Why Go: The Atlanta Poker Club offers Texas Hold 'Em to anyone willing to play, right in Stone Mountain Village. Cards fly at noon, but guests can get there once the restaurant opens at 11 a.m. to munch on some delicious lunch (try to Stone Mountain Climber Burger) served by one of Stone Mountain's newest restaurants. Players must be 18 years old to participate.
