Get Out: A Look at What to Do This Weekend

"Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade"

When/Where: Thursday, June 2, 9:30 p.m., Movie Tavern, 4043 LaVista Road, Tucker.

Why Go: Movie Tavern is continuing their Retro Cinema movies throughout the summer, and today they're showing the second in the Indiana Jones' series ... in high definition, no less! Don't fret if you can't make it to Thursday's showing; the theatre always shows a replay on Tuesdays at 7 p.m.

"No Fleas Allowed" Flea Market

When/Where: Saturday, June 4, 8 a.m.- 4 p.m., The Park Pet Retreat, 3516 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker.

Why Go: Park Pet Retreat is having a benefit where proceeds will go to the pooches rescued and housed by the homeless pet shelter. Rescheduled from May 21, the event will allow patrons to browse from tons of different items.

Pricing: Free to browse.

Schen Deep Presents Brick Squad

When/Where: Saturday, June 4, 10 p.m.-2 a.m., The Atrium, 5479 Memorial Drive, Stone Mountain.

"Endangered Species: Found Paper" and Art Station Member Juried Exhibition  No. 3

When/Where: Saturday, June 4, 7 p.m.-9 p.m., ART Station, 5384 Manor Drive, Stone Mountain.

Why Go: The Atlanta Collage Society has teamed up with ART Station to show the gallery's next group exhibition, "Endangered Species: Found Paper," alongside the juried exhibition of an array of art mediums. Check out the collages, see who (or should have) won the juried exhibit, all while enjoying complimentary food and drinks.

Pricing: Free.

Why Go: An event strictly 21 and up, The Atrium is having a concert featuring Frenchie from Brick Squad, a rap group fronted by Gucci Mane. Hot 107.9's E.T. of the Durrtty Boys will be heading the event along with other hosts, and the evening will have $3 drink specials with a full kitchen open all night.

Pricing: $25 per person, but ladies are free until 11:30 p.m. Presale tickets are available here.

Lilburn Farmer's Market

When/Where: Friday, June 3, 4 p.m.-8 p.m., Greenway Trail Parking Lot, Main Street, Lilburn.

Why Go: Friday is the debut of Lilburn's Farmer's Market. Sample some pieces and go home with a variety of organic and locally grown goodies, ranging from salsa to milk to seasonal fruits to biscotti. Opening night is Providence Christian Academy Night, and the Lilburn Woman's Club Art Department is sponsoring a kids' night, where children can make bookmarks and fans and create art with chalk. Old Town shops will be open late for the evening, too, including The Watering Hole (96 Main Street), which will have rock musician Bruce Hedrick perform live that evening.

Community Yard Sale and Richard Ferris Photography Exhibit

When/Where: Saturday, June 4, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. for yard sale, Main Street Overflow Parking Lot, Main Street, Lilburn; 4 p.m. for exhibit, 94 Main Street, Lilburn.

Why Go: The community-wide yard sales have gone on a few times this year already and have been a huge success. With almost 50 spaces for sellers to display their merchandise on, it's hard for patrons to leave the sale empty-handed. Also going on in Old Town is a photography exhibit and reception by Lilburn resident Richard Ferris.
