Rainbows program for children coping with loss at Embry Hills UMC

Embry Hills UMC will offer the Rainbows program, Guiding Kids Through Life’s Storms, to children in Kindergarten through 6th grade.  Rainbows is an international, not-for-profit organization that provides a healthy path toward healing to those grieving a loss or life-altering crisis. For more than 20 years, the power of its programming has helped children cope with the emotional pain of divorce, separation, death, and other loss.   Located at 3304 Henderson  Mill Rd., Atlanta, GA  30341, the classes will meet on Sundays, starting September 30th, from 6pm-7pm and are free of charge. More than one million children each year are affected by divorce. More than one million children by age 15 will have a parent die. Well over one million participants have experienced the benefits of Rainbows.  Embry Hills UMC is honored to be able to add this program to its growing Children’s Ministry. For more information and to register your child, please email or call Susannah Bales at susannahb@embryhillsumc.net or (704) 689-7166.  To find directions and information on other events at EHUMC, please visit our website:  www.embryhillsumc.org
