DeKalb Libraries Extend Engraved Brick Program

Tucker's library was the first in the county to offer engraved bricks.

The DeKalb County Public Library's engraved brick campaign, which includes the and branches at Hairston Crossing, Salem-Panola and Stonecrest, has been extended until the end of this month.

Personalized bricks can be inscribed with a patron's name, the name of a family, friend or company, or in honor or memory of a loved one.

The campaign was originally scheduled to end June 1, 2012, and raises funds for library programs, books, materials and literacy services. The county's library system welcomes 3.2 million visitors annually to its 22 branches.
