68th Annual Easter Sunrise Service on Stone Mountain

The 68th annual at is April 8.

You don't have to venture to the top of the mountain for the service. The Stone Mountain Ministerial Association will hold two non-denominational Easter services - one atop Stone Mountain, the other at the base on Memorial Lawn - this Sunday, April 8 at 7 a.m.

The services will be held simultaneously.

Stone Mountain Park says to please allow an extra hour or more for large crowds.

Pricing and scheduling information:

• Park gates and Skyride open at 4 a.m.
• Church vans and buses enter free.  
• Round-trip Skyride fees are $9.00 for adults and $7.00 for children 3-11 and $5.50 one-way. 
• Vehicle entry to the park is $10 for a one-day permit; $35 for annual permit.
• It's free to take the walk-up trail up the mountain.
