Meet our Family of the Month; A Trusted Partnership with Parents

Primrose School of Five Forks selects the Steele family as the Family of the Month for February!

The Steele Family has been chosen as our Family of the Month for February.  Jeff and Ami are the proud parents of Jeffery, Brianna and Hudson Grey, a student in our Toddler class.  The Steele Family also includes two Russian Blue cats named Gus and Maz and a Spring Spaniel named Beetle.  Their family is blended, so most of them were present for Jeff and Ami’s wedding in 2009.

They have been blessed to visit Disney World and Sea World with family and recently they took an epic trip to Washington, D.C.  They saw many wonderful museums and historic sites, but their most favorite part of the trip was walking the entire length of the Mall.

In 2012, they received an amazing miracle when Hudson Grey was born. The Steel’s enjoy Friday night family nights, eating dinner together and watching movies.  Their absolute best family experiences are those that they have every day they spend together.  Their routine days are truly blessed and fun and they are grateful for the family they have become.

Some of the hobbies that the Steele family enjoys are reading to Hudson Grey, watching movies, watching football (Go Dawgs and Go Gamecocks!), traveling, listening to or making music and working at their church.  Hudson Grey’s name symbolizes a sentimental location and his grandfather’s names. Because they love the two names so much, they call him by both!

The Steele family shares their Primrose experience:

When the Steele’s were asked why they chose Primrose School of Five Forks for Hudson Grey, they replied, “We have seen Hudson Grey blossom in the months he has been at Primrose.  His vocabulary is growing daily as well as his ability to communicate with signing.  We enjoy having him express “thank you” to people verbally and with sign.  He surprises us often with a new animal noise, or by saying the next number or a color that he has learned at school.  These new accomplishments may appear randomly, but we know it is intentional devotion on behalf of his teachers and leaders.  We often pick him up while he is reading or dancing to a song with his teachers.

It is routine for him to hug his teachers when he arrives at daycare, and sit own with the rest of the students, diving right in to each new day because he feels secure and loved by those teachers who watch over him.  As his parents, we are very grateful for the sense of security we feel each day we leave him in the care of the Primrose staff and teachers.

Everyone knows our child and us by name, and they often extend a very caring and generous hello to our entire family.  We appreciate the way that Hudson Grey is covered with learning and love at Primrose School of Five Forks.”

Congratulations to the Steele family!
