Greater Good Barbecue Fundraiser/Anniversary Party

We just passed our one year anniversary a couple weeks ago and want to give back to the community that has helped us get to where we are.

We will be starting our school supply drive and accepting donations this Saturday in hopes of helping the elementary schools throughout the Tucker/Smoke Rise neighborhoods. We will be accepting these donations as long as people want to bring them in up until August 12th and will be dividing up all proceeds to Brockett, Livsey, Smokerise, Midvale and Idlewood elementary schools through respective PTAs.

While we would be more than happy to accept cash donations, we are also asking for supplies such as pencil sharpeners, hand sanitizer, crayons, #2 and colored pencils, notebooks, white glue, Clorox wipes and any other school supplies you would like to donate.

If anyone else has suggestions on what to bring, feel free to post them with this message.

To make things a little exciting, we will be running a little contest to see which school can bring in the most support. We will have note cards available. Bring in supplies, put your name and number of items on a note card and we will tally them up when it's all over and donate lunch to the teachers of the winning school through their PTA. Let's show these teachers our appreciation and get them the supplies they need as well as win them some great BBQ.

As far as the party, we will be having The Gold Standard Band playing music from 7-10 PM. These guys play some great Carolina Beach music, some R&B and some soul. We've had them here a couple times now and they pack the house out. So get here early and grab a seat. It's gonna be a great time!!!
