What Should Go Here?
This funky eyesore of a building has been vacant for ages.
I don't even remember what used to be there, but it could have been anything - gas station, dry cleaners, who knows.
It's got some kind of carport/drive through thing in the front, big windows and garage doors. It hasn't seen any paint in years, except for graffiti. Looks terrible.
More to the point, it sits right at the corner of our snazzy new Main Street and a major thoroughfare, Lawrenceville Highway.
So what do you think would be a good use of this valuable space?

Think it belongs to Wade's Used Vanes folks.

You're right, Paul. I remember now. And Wade's then moved to Fellowship Road near LaVista.

A better question might be, "WHY IS THIS NEWS?" Come on Kevin...

It's not news - it's a commentary.
I agree it would be great to see the building occupied with a business that the community would enjoy.

This is not supposed to be news, Ashley. We do a lot more than just news.

At one time it was a gas station. My guess is that it has so many EPA issues that the cost of compliance exceeds its value. Owner is probably waiting until whatever contaminants deteriorate. Sometimes regulations have consequences counter to the regulators intention.
