Baxter

Baxter is a hound/shepherd mix with beautiful Rottweiler/Doberman coloring.  He is a medium sized male that enjoys running and playing. He came into the shelter stray on Sept. 29, 2012 and would love to be in a forever home by the new year!

Betty

Betty is a cute Collie mix. She is a smaller sized young adult that is both active and friendly. She came into the shelter stray on Nov. 11, 2012 and is patiently waiting for the right adopters to come along.

Both Baxter and Betty unfortunately tested positive for heartworms, which is transmitted by mosquitos, therefore must be adopted or rescued by someone willing to put them through treatment. DeKalb County Animal Services waives the adoption fee on heartworm positive dogs so adopters can put that money towards their care instead.
