Tucker High Receives Advanced Placement Honor

THS singled out in the Stem category.

 

The Georgia Department of Education has announced the 2013 Advanced Placement Honors Schools.

Among them is Tucker High School, which was honored in the AP Stem category, representing the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

This is awarded to schools with students testing in at least two AP math courses and two AP science courses.

Great! now has anyone looked to see how many of the students actually pass these classes (with 3 points or better)

My daughter has and all of the kids in her study group. Several scored a 5meeting on the exam, a couple fours too. And, this an indication why schools like Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, Boston College and even local folks Emory, UGA, and Tech are recruiting their best kids from right here in Tucker High School.
