Tucker Businesses Sponsoring Boston Volunteers

Three local restaurants and a church are putting out the welcome mat for a special group.

A volunteer team fom Boston University is in town this week, helping out at Friends of Disabled Adults and Children (FODAC), and three Tucker restaurants are sponsoring dinners for them in return.

The visitors are part of BU's Alternative Spring Breaks, a program in which students volunteer their time to various community projects around the country.

Riverside Pizza, Roly Poly and Las Colinas are joining in the effort by making sure the students are well fed during their visit. While they are here, the Boston group is staying at First Baptist Chuch of Tucker.
