The story of a dog who was found in a storm sewer over the weekend has a happy ending.
Glynbrook resident Barbara Paulk sent out a message Thursday with the good news: "This dog now has a new home with a wonderful family. They live on Jackson Lake and the dog will now go from 'Sewer Rat' to hitting the jackpot! She will have sunset rides on a boat along with being totally adored! Such a great ending to this story. Thanks go out to Deanna Stranz, the Langleys, and Stanley Daniel - for all the help given."
Original article:
A lost dog was discovered two days ago in a storm sewer at the corner of Glynbrook Drive and Sasanqua Court in Tucker by nearby residents Sheila and Robert Langley.
She is described as a beautiful tan and white with long ears. She is a healthly, frisky, young pup who is alert and very thin but "super happy."
The dog is being kept at neighbor Stanley Daniel's house while her owner is located.

If the puppy was thin, lost and in a storm drain, I would be very hesitant to return her to the owners. Have you seen any signs that they are looking for her? If you do not locate them and cannot keep her, The Park Pet Haven in Tucker will be happy to take her into our rescue program and find her new - and better - home. Call Rita @ 770-414-7275
