Papi's Opens in Tucker

Cofer Crossing has a new tenant, one that has even won Patch Reader's Choice awards.

If you're looking for somewhere new to have lunch, the Papi's Cuban and Caribbean Grill Tucker location has recently opened.

The restaurant is at 4349 Lawrenceville Highway, Suite E inside Cofer Crossing. It's open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Check out the Media Noche sandwich, which is like a traditional Cuban but made on bread cooked with eggs and sugar for a slightly sweeter taste.

There are also lunch specials for $6.99 that change each day and come with plantains and fresh bread.

A little bit of downtown flavor coming into Tucker! Great cuban and puerto rican dishes. Try the mofongo, a typical puerto rican dish and the mesquitas. The prices are great and a friendly staff. Lunch service is quick, a must to check out!

Went to Papi's tonight and really enjoyed the fresh food. The Cuban coffee is wonderful! Loved the atmosphere as well as the food.

We're so excited to have Papi's here in Tucker! We've been there twice. The food was delicious. Service superb. Not a huge fan of their interpretation of tres leches cake (their version is not soaked through with the milks), but the Cuban coffee and food was muy bueno!!!!! Looks like evening would have a great vibe going on.
