Inclusif Fitness Holding Handy Ace Benefit
Local business will host fundraiser for employees of burnt-down hardware store.
By Patrice Peters, Inclusif Fitness owner
On the night of Dec. 28, members at Inclusif Fitness were finishing up their Friday evening Zumba class when the Handy Ace Hardware broke out in flames.
We had just watched earlier as the employees were leaving for the day. The fire burned through the night and when we returned for classes the next morning, firefighters were still at the site. The entire building burned to the ground. Nearly three dozen employees would be without jobs. I decided to host an employee benefit for them.
Join us on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 1-5 p.m. for Tucker’s biggest community benefit. We’re going to raise the roof!
Where: Inclusif Fitness on Cowan Road in Tucker, opposite the Handy Ace Hardware building.
Cost: $10 per participant - $5 for ages 12 and under. Proceeds to benefit the employees of Handy Ace Hardware.
There will be food, activities and zumba for seniors and children!
Sponsors and participants include Ruby Red's Band, Kroger, Good Measure Meals, Roly Poly, Sangria's, and Chick-fil-A. Advance tickets are available at Matthews Cafeteria and Inclusif Fitness.
