Democrats Giving Away Tickets to Obama's Speech

You need to be at Manuel's Tavern by noon Friday.

The DeKalb Democratic Party sent out this message Thursday night.

DO YOU WANT TO GO TO CHARLOTTE AND BE THERE IN PERSON FOR THE PRESIDENTS"S ACCEPTANCE SPEECH?

In Atlanta: Manuel's Tavern, 602 N Highland Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30307

In Macon: Bibb County Democratic Party, 835 Forsyth St. Suite A, Macon GA 31201

Here are the rules:

Everyone who is at Manuel's Tavern or the Bibb County Democratic Party by noon on Friday, August 31 is eligible for two tickets. Arrive early if you want, but it won't give you a better chance to win. Just be there by 12 noon!

If less than 50 people arrive, everyone will get a pair! If more than 50 folks arrive, we will do a random drawing to determine our winners.

There is no cost involved. We're not selling the tickets; we're giving them away.

Since we're not selling tickets, you can't sell them either! If you sell your tickets to someone else, they will be deactivated.

For planning purposes, we expect that President Obama will speak at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6. To insure that you are in your seat for the speech, you should arrive at the stadium that afternoon. There will be strict security at the event.

Your trip to Charlotte to see the President's historic speech begins today.

You mean Obama could not rustle up enough union goons and naive students to fill the place, and is giving away tickets to get people there? I personally wouldn't walk across the street to hear another warmed-over, race-baiting, divisive attack on the rich and the free enterprise system. The American people have, hopefully, finally had enough of this clown and will prove that in November!

I'm equally as glad. It's not hatred...just defending the leader of our country who has been hated since day one and all he tried to do was get us out of this mess we're in.

How appropriate to say "He just didn't get it done". How could he ? In a country where all persons are created equal. The land where dreams are possible, and do have rights to realize those dreams regardless of the color of your skin !! He realized his dream in part, but the real realization of his dreams are being "DELAYED" by envious "dream killers", because of the color of his skin. He is smart, intellegent, a risk taker, bold, a proven leader, seemingly a great father and husband, and fearless. HE WILL BE RE-ELECTED !! He has accomplished a lot, though little credit has been given. So much time wasted in preparing someone else's broken promises. I voted for him before and will vote for him again...

You are a race baiting moron typical of the losers that support and excuse the incompetence so vividly evident in Barack Obama.

Borrow some money from your Mommy so you can drive to Charlotte and watch the Democratic Convention.Listen to Obama and his cronies make their endless promises of Free Sh--- to oversexed co-eds, career deadbeats, stoned out students, welfare queens, poverty pimps and illegal alien invaders. All designed to create dependency and buy votes from those who are intellectually challenged.

This disgusting display of patronization and pandering will delight many of the attendees looking to assuage their guilt and shame for being born in America.

The only problem is the knotty little task of picking winners and losers to receive this distribution of Other Peoples' Money which somehow, always, gets siphoned off by the enablers in the pipeline and never reaches the Saps who bought into this scam.

Be sure to bring plenty of barf bags as the Puke being put out at this Vomit Fest is sure to cause even a Liberal to hurl.

Many policies of the Democrats leave me cold. They pander, and don't seem to have the courage to come up with big plans to fix broken things -- Welfare isn't getting people out of poverty like it should, we spend too much money on Defense in a world where no one existentially threatens us, schools aren't producing enough well-educated students, and the economy isn't offering enough well-paying jobs.

When Obama ran, he actually presented a few ideas that sounded promising. Once he was in office, though, he didn't lead his party, and very little was accomplished. But, as disappointed as I am in his leadership so far, at least he leans in the direction I want things to go.

Republicans seldom propose solutions that contain any actual route to success. How do you fix poverty? Cut taxes, they say. There's no explanation for how those two concepts are supposed to connect. How do you improve education? Lower government involvement, they say. Again, I don't see how A leads to B, and they don't try to explain. It feels like they rely on dogma and faith, rather than reason, and I think that dogma and faith didn't build railroads, cars, computers, and space ships. Reason did. Reason has a better track record.

So yeah, I'll vote for Obama. He's feeble, but at least he thinks the same way I do. Better that, I think, than a party that promises improvement, but wants you to trust them, on faith. The only thing I trust from them is that the rich will prosper more than the poor.

But I have never gotten a job from a poor person, and some rich people prosper more than other rich people, so that should not be FAIR either! So why don't we just let Obama,as he is doing already, continue to make every body mediocre so we can make sure that the whole world will see us as just another unexceptional country and make the libs and the world so so happy.

Oh yeah.".. Obama is ineffective so I'll vote for him anyway because he thinks like me"? How sad.
How do you fix poverty, you ask? Well since Lyndon Johnson's war on poverty in the 60's tons of $$ have been spent. The result? No real impact on the poverty rate. But the family unit has almost been destroyed in many minority communities as a result... furthering the cycle. When will you realize that big government is not the answer. Individual responsibility and freedom best address the ills of society.

So, the Rep in Congress bare no responsibility @ all? The president is not a King, he can not make Congress agree or work with him. The repubs stated that their main goal was to make Pres. Obama a one term president!! Students can stay on their parent's insurance until 26. Insurance for others that are unemployed, have concer, etc you now have cancer. For women that have been discriminated against you now have time to sue for rightful discrimination charges. The repub governors blast the president and then go beg for money...."race to the top money for their schools, infrastructure grants" what about the unemployment benefits that are allowing you to eat? The car industry that was saved (when the rich repubs said to just let them fail"). What about ending the Irag war, killing Osama bin laden (the Bush adminstration took how many years? The last year of Bush we lost 730k jobs a month. We have been gaining over 170K jobs a month for almost a year. The repubs have been fighting him every step of the way. I am so glad that his white mom and grandparents understood how some whites react to successful black men and taught him how to beat them at their own game. It kills me that so many poor white folks are actually buying into the rich white man scheme of the repubs and you should be double ashamed if you are a white woman and they are sitting there saing that "you can't pregnant if you are raped" and if you are military...."they didn't even acknolwedge your behind.

Sounds like you have all of the Moronic Liberal Talking Points down pat, especially the grievance and race baiting rant. It would nice to occasionally hear some original thought emanating from the Other Side. Unfortunately all we get are these wind up toys spit out by our Union dominated school system that teaches how to access every Government handout but fails to teach these Losers how to think critically, add, subtract or spell.

Welcome to the site that attracts Liberals like a moth to a flame. Their prescriptions for public policy can be summed up by trying to ensure every citizen is equally miserable by appealing to and rewarding the lowest common denominator of personal performance.

This is the Mission Statement of the Public Unions adopted from their Mentor, Karl Marx..

Mike, keep drinking the kool aid. This president submitted a budget in January 2012 and your side didn't want to deal with it and then turn around and say he didn't submit a budget. They repeat this lie over and over right from the Karl Rove and Lee Atwater playbooks. 75% of the debt came from King George who blew through a surplus, started two unfunded wars and reduced taxes for the "job creators". How has that worked out for us?? How long will we blame King George? FOREVER...

Dear Diane

As usual, like most intellectually challenged Liberals, your essay is seriously flawed.
1. No one has contended Barack Hussein Obama did not submit a budget. He did submit one and he did not get a single vote in the House or Senate from even a Democrat! So much for his budgeting prowess.Check the record and become informed.
2. It is the Democrat Senate that has not produced a budget in 3 years. Check the record, become informed.
3. Barack Obama has escalated the war in Afghanistan and has not funded it. So he is no different than George Bush on that issue. He is responsible for $5 Trillion in debt in 4 years, almost 1/3 of the total debt accumulated since our founding.
4.Leaders lead and do not cast blame. Losers whine like little school girls and cast blame in every direction. Barack Hussein Obama is a Chicago Politician steeped in the strategies of deceit and corruption. He is a Divider, not a Uniter and possesses no Leadership Skills. He hasn't met with his Job Council in 7 months and has held only 1 Cabinet Meeting during the same time. He should be prosecuted for being AWOL and he will certainly be voted out of office for being incompetent.

Just like you and your essay, he has been measured, weighed and found sorely wanting.

I will now retire to my Man Cave, have a nice crisp Chardonney and allow you to reflect on the fact you have met your betters in the matters of State.

This is an important election in defining the direction of America. We cannot provide things like welfare, health care and jobs with no MONEY! I have worked with the United Way, directed a program for runaway kids and been a guardian for abused children - so not a heartless person. People do not need more hand outs - that only results in more hands out. They need education and jobs. Jobs are going to foreign countries who do not have the added costs and restrictions that the U.S has. Our school boards have no money and cannot provide superior education without money. The national debt at an unprecedented level. All due respect and I had hope, but Obama had 2 years of democratic congress to push through anything he wanted -- all they pushed thru is health care program that we can't afford -- and stated that millions are coming from Medicare "WASTE"?? If they identified that much waste in Medicare years ago, why wait for Obamacare to fix it?? We need leaders who will balance the needs of the people with the economic challenges and GET CONGRESS TO WORK TOGETHER. While that goal may never be 100%, Romney/Ryan are not as divisive as the current administration, who constantly point fingers and call names. WE ARE AMERICA - not the clowns in office/congress. Please, Americans - stop listening to campaign propaganda and think for yourself!!
