Tucker First United Methodist Church is sponsoring a parenting seminar on Thursday, October 6, from 6:30-9:00 pm. The seminar, titled "Parenting is Heart Work: Dealing with Anger and Bad Attitudes in Children, and their Parents," will be led by Dr. Scott Turansky and Joanne Miller, RN, BSN, from the National Center for Biblical Parenting. The cost is $20 per adult, and free childcare will be provided for children ages 6 months to 12 years.
The program promises that parents will learn practical ideas to help address the hearts of their kids. The seminar is entertaining, encouraging, and life changing. The children will learn in fun exciting ways how they can enhance family life.

I'm excited about being with you folks. I know this subject of emotional intensity in family life is an important one. Many times parents go away from this teaching not only with a plan for their kids but they say that they learned some things for their own emotions as well. --Dr. Scott Turansky
